Zemote Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I get an immediate connection error. What can I do?
A: Try using your computer's local IP. You can get this via “Run…” => cmd => “ipconfig” (without the quotes) => Enter

Q: I still cannot connect. How should my network be configured?
A: You should make sure that your router, firewall and so on are allowing TCP/IP and UDP communication on port 7575.

Q: When loading my collection on the phone, the app suddenly exits. What should I do?
A: Your phone is running out of memory. You have too much album covers to handle. There is a temporary fix for this: turn off the usage of album covers on the PC. Go to Preferences -> turn off "Use album covers". We are working on a fix for this problem. Q: When connecting to my PC, it suddenly starts playing another song. What is happening?
A: You are using the trial version of Zemote, which only uses 10 tracks. So Zemote starts playing your 10 first tracks, and you will find those on the phone as well.

If the Zemote PC Software still doesn't work properly, you could try the following:
- Try restarting your computer
- Please check if Zemote is allowed in Windows Firewall, add it to your list of allowed exceptions
- Try removing and re-installing the Zemote PC software
- Make sure you're using the 32-bit version on a 32-bit computer, or the 64-bit version on a 64-bit comuter
